Paul’s Testimony

Paul’s Testimony

13 at midday, O king, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me. 14 And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’ 15 So I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. 16 But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you.
Acts 26:13-16

The Apostle Paul’s testimony began one day as he traveled to Damascus, planning to stop the spread of this new Christian movement. He was knocked to the ground by a supernatural light that blinded him for three days. As his natural eyes were not functioning, his spiritual eyes were being opened. He was being changed into a new man. This spiritual transformation became the foundation of all he preached for the next 35 years. His testimony was used by the Lord to impact thousands of lives in his lifetime as well as in every generation to come. Possibly today, could be a day of change in your life. All it takes is one glimpse of His Glorious Light. Whether you have known Him for years, or never tasted His love, the Glory of His touch changes everything. Once you have experienced His love, you have a living testimony that is the strength of your life. Tell someone today about your testimony of Jesus. Who knows what lives can be impacted by Christ’s story in your life. After all, the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophesy.
